Discover Callaway Gardens
Details
We will spend a day enjoying a wide variety of what the gardens have to offer. Our 3.5 mile hike will focus on identifying more than a dozen species of native evergreen plants we find along the trail. We will also dine in one of the restaurants, visit the butterfly center, experience their birds of prey show and if time allows, stop at the nature-themed chapel.
The hike is easy and mostly flat. The first 1.25 miles is on the Mountain Creek Lake Hiking Trail and the remaining part on a paved multi-use trail for walking and biking.
Entrance fee is $32/adults and $24.84/seniors 65 and over and $27/child.
