Sweep The Hooch

The Middle Chattahoochee Sierra Club Group is excited to again participate in the annual Sweep The Hooch event to be held on March 21 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Our chosen site is the same as last year: Pyne Road Park located on Westpoint Lake in LaGrange. The trash pick up area is fairly level and along the lakeshore. There is ample parking and our staging area is by the picnic tables. Trash bags and gloves are provided.
This a fun and worthwhile community event! You will need to register for the event on the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper website (CRK sponsors this statewide cleanup). See the flyer below.
