May Meeting: Monarch Butterflies

Please join us for our May Meeting on Tuesday, May 19th. Social time/refreshments will be at 6:30 with program @ 7-8 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church on 207 N Greenwood St. in LaGrange.

Monarch Biology & Ecology: Learn about the biology and ecology of the monarch, its migration, and the threats that it faces. Discover the strategies that you can use to create habitat and assist scientists in its recovery.

Susan Meyers is a retired science educator, a Georgia Master Gardener and Master Naturalist, Monarch Watch Conservation Specialist, and Pollinator Partnership-certified Pollinator Steward. She is the volunteer administrator of the Symbolic Monarch Migration, a partnership project between the Monarch Joint Venture and Monarchs Across Georgia, a committee of the nonprofit organization, the Environmental Education Alliance.
