What we’re about
Welcome! This group is for women who are moderate, nonpartisan or those who may feel politically displaced right now, but who are passionate about democracy and social progress in the USA. The purpose of the group is to provide a space for women to mindfully discuss current issues and organize around effective strategies and actions that drive social change. Activities could include coffee or wine & conversation, book discussions, sharing pertinent updates as it relates to women’s rights during the next administration, engaging with political leaders in Washington, DC or just meeting up at a cafe or park to laugh or scream together.
While this group provides space for those displeased with the outcome of the election, this group isn’t intended for hurling vitriolic insults at our brothers and sisters on the Right or the Left nor is it for hurling insults at each other. This group also isn’t intended for those who view political action as posting memes on social media only. The group is for facilitating discussions, information sharing, building trust and community around the issues that matter most.
