Catskill Hike: Artist’s Rock, Sunset Rock, and Newman’s Ledge

Join us on a hike to Artist’s Rock, Sunset Rock, and Newman’s Ledge 🥾
It is approximately 6 miles long and rated as moderately difficult. We will begin and end at North-South Lake as part of the loop, taking about 4 hours to complete.
Along the trail we will pass ledges with breathtaking vistas, small waterfalls, and might even see peregrine falcons and mountain laurel blooming 🌸
Please arrive promptly at 12:30pm.
We will begin the hike by 12:45 pm.

Come prepared with sneakers or hiking boots, as the terrain is rocky, wet, and sometimes muddy. Some parts can be steep and have loose rocks. Remember to pack lunch, snacks, and enough water to get you through 4 hours!
Peregrine falcons breed/nest along the cliffs during this time, please be respectful of this and the signage limiting access to certain areas. This should not impact the hike. 😊
