Geocaching in Shenstone

Details

Meet at Shenstone railway station

Geocaching is a 21st Century hobby where participants use GPS to locate deal and virtual objects hidden by other geocachers. Most smartphones have GPS.
A couple of apps are all you need to get started, which are both free and quick to download.
If you are new to geocaching I can guide people on downloading the apps before we begin.
New and experienced cachers welcome.
Today we will find virtual 'adlab' caches and 'real' caches in the lovely village of Shenstone with surrounding countryside. The 'Wedding Capers' loop will be the main focus.
The location is deliberately chosen to allow getting there by either car or public transport, trains take around 30 minutes from Birmingham New Street and Shenstone is a short train journey from Lichfield Trent Valley on the Trent Valley line.
