Singles: Beyond the Swipe Discussion: The Spark, The Signals & The “What Now?”
Details
Singles, I'm sure you'll agree, sometimes the tricky part of romance isn’t meeting someone—it’s figuring out what the connection actually is. Is it friendship or something more? Are you genuinely interested, or simply responding to THEIR interest? And once you know you’re interested, what do you do about it?
Let’s explore:
• How do you know when YOU are genuinely interested?
• How do you distinguish nerves from guardedness or lack of interest?
• How can you show interest without making it weird—and kindly let someone down when it isn’t mutual?
• How can you help a nervous date feel comfortable enough to show their best self?
• When do you give someone a little time, and when is it time to walk away—with kindness and dignity?
As you can likely already tell, our group is for people who want to approach dating with intention—being thoughtful about who they pursue, how they pursue them, and how they show up for one another.
As always with my events, jadedness, bitterness, and negativity will be redirected. Groups I manage are about personal responsibility, accountability, and intentionality. Along those lines, if you no-show twice, I will remove you from the group—not to be harsh, but because we’re here to demonstrate the best of humanity, and that includes showing up with integrity to our word, our commitments to one another, and to the establishments gracious enough to host us. As your host, I take that commitment seriously and want to honor it. So let’s stay humble, curious, encouraging, and hopeful about what’s possible! Negative comments will be redirected—likely awkwardly. :P
Guests are always asked to order food/drink and tip (at guest's expense) in support of our hosting establishment. Thank you!
