Midtown Memoir Writer's Sunday In-Person Meetup

Welcome to the first meeting of the MMWG! We'll get acquainted here, talk about writing/our favorite memoirs, and what our writing goals are. I'll review the format of the group & hand out a Guideline for Critiquing.

We'll meet at Lola's Coffee Shop at 3rd Avenue & Roosevelt, out on the patio. Address is 1001 N. 3rd Ave - there is street parking & a covered parking lot.

Please plan on patronizing Lola's by buying a coffee or food item.

Know that with the topic of memoir and creative nonfiction, we delve into the triumphs and tragedies of Life. We've covered all kinds of topics, such as coming of age, death/grief, sex, etc. So if any of that makes you squeamish, either be prepared to expand your comfort level or this may not be the group for you.
