Midtown Memoir Writer's Sunday In-Person Meetup

Welcome to our second in-person meeting of the MMWG! Please RSVP by Wednesday/July 16th/11:59 pm. That way on Thursday/July 17th, I can email the group to tell you who's RSVPed and that's who we send our written pieces to by Thursday at 11:59 pm. That way, we'll all have time to read and critique BEFORE Sunday's Meetup. Even if you are not submitting this week, you can still critique. Feel free to ask any questions - we're still working on getting in a groove!

We'll meet at Lola's Coffee Shop at 3rd Avenue & Roosevelt, inside where it's nice and cool. Address is 1001 N. 3rd Ave - there is street parking & a covered parking lot.

Please plan on patronizing Lola's by buying a coffee or food item.

Know that with the topic of memoir and creative nonfiction, we delve into the triumphs and tragedies of Life. We've covered all kinds of topics, such as coming of age, death/grief, sex, etc. So if any of that makes you squeamish, either be prepared to expand your comfort level or this may not be the group for you.
