Missouri Riverfront Trail & Levee Hike

Details
Let’s hike the Riverfront and Levee trails at Riverside, MO for 4-5 miles. 9 highway is closed near Riverside so an alternate route may be needed.
No dogs.
Our hike will begin on level asphalt with two gradual inclines to the levee. Then we’ll hike the levee topped with crushed rock to just past the I-635 bridge and turn around and come back.
Map directions will take you to the Rockridge Recycling Center which you will drive by on your way to the trail head parking lot.
Going East out of historic Parkville on 9 Highway, Look for the paved road just past KC Propane (big round white storage tanks) on the right. Turn south and across the tracks, then veer right along the cedar trees and find the parking lot on the left. We'll meet at the trail head on the far side of the lot where the pin points on the map.
For those who wish to stay with our group, we will hike a casual to moderate pace. For anyone running late, you can head out on the trail and catch us on the return trip.
Please keep RSVPs current and check here for updates before the hike.
Let's hike!
