Weston Bend State Park ‘Fall Colors’ Hike, with optional O’Malley’s Pub after

Let’s hike the well defined 2.75 mile asphalt loop through the densely wooded park, then head over to O’Malley‘s Pub for optional eats and drink.

It would be best to arrive a bit early in case the parking lot is full, and we need to park up the hill by the dog park and walk down to the meeting point.

Meet at the trailhead sign by the parking lot where the pin points on the map. We’ll head out clockwise after a group photo and first name introductions.

The trail has some steep areas that could be slick from condensation, moss and debris.

Plan on hiking casual to moderate pace and staying together as a group. We’ll stop occasionally to take in the sights and catch our breath.

The dirt trails will likely be muddy from heavy rain this week so we’ll hike those another time.
