Exploring Hike

New to KC or find yourself driving through a neighborhood and think you’d liked to stop and explore? Now’s your chance…each exploring hike will cover a different area of KC and surrounding areas.

This leg is Martin City Tavern at South Plaza, through Gillham Park, CC Plaza, with a break at The Bar on 47th, then back to Martin City at South Plaza. Meet in frMnt of Martin City. This is where we will begin, heading north to the museum and over to Gillham Park, around to Mill Creek Park, then following 47th to The Bar where we will stop for a beverage/snack then head down Jarboe Street to Ward Parkway to Mill Creek, 48th and back down Main Street to Martin City. There is a map in photos.

We will begin the hike at 2:30 pm. There will be approximately 2 hours hike time to cover 5 miles of hiking.
