Wyandotte County Lake Morning Hike
Details
Let’s hike for an hour and a half or so, starting at the spillway parking lot by the dam on the North end of the lake, were the red pin points on the map. We’ll walk down by the spillway first, then walk across the dam and hike along the East side of the lakeshore, then loop around and come back to the parking lot.
No dogs.
Trails are dirt with gradual inclines. Nothing too rugged. Hiking or trail shoes are recommended.
Be prepared to hike a casual to moderate pace and stay together as a group.
After a brief hello, description of the event and first name introductions, will head out.
Please,
… do not ask or expect anyone to wait or respond to messages while the event is in progress so the host can focus on leading the assembled group, and others won’t be distracted.
… do not suggest alternate meeting points, or anything else contrary or in addition to what the host provides for this event.
… understand the host’s cell phone gets no attention while driving to an event.
… keep RSVPs current and check back here for updates.
Let’s hike!
