Exploring Hike

5 mile hike (approximately 2 hours of hike time 2-4pm) with optional social time at KC Bier after the hike.

Let’s explore KC on and off the beaten path! How many times do you drive by neighborhood areas and think you’d liked to stop and explore? Now’s your chance…each exploring hike will cover a different area of KC and surrounding areas.

Let’s hit replay for the Waldo to Brookside hike. Meet in the parking lot across the street from KC Bier Co. This is where we will begin on the Trolley Trail. We will head towards Brookside beginning at 2 o’clock. Our turn around stopping point is 2.5 mikes at one of our award winning local breweries, BKS Artisan Ales. Luca’s bagels is next door with a 4.5 rating. This time, this will just be a bathroom break at restrooms located between these two amazing places worth coming back to for food and fun.

From BKS, we will meander through neighborhoods streets, down Holmes and Rockhill to Gregory where we will pass a neighborhood of shops, businesses, and places to eat. From there, we are back to Trolley Trail onward to return to KC Bier Co. Stay for their famous bierocks or order some to go for dinner later.
