City Market & Berkley Riverfront Trail Walk + Harry’s Country Club
Details
Let’s walk the newly opened West section of Berkley Riverfront Trail for 3-4 miles, then head over to Harry’s Country Club for a bite to eat, optional.
No dogs.
After a brief hello, description of the event and first name introductions, we’ll head Northwest to the Town of Kansas pedestrian bridge for an elevated view of the Mighty Missouri River and bridges, walk the Riverfront Trail West toward the newly opened Rock Bridge entertainment area in the West Bottoms, then turn around and make our way back. The trail is well defined and a mix of gravel and pavement.
There is free two-hour parking inside the City Market Square. We’ll meet on the East side of the lot where the pin points on the map.
Entrance to the City Market Square is the corner of E. 5th & Walnut Streets.
Be prepared to walk a casual to moderate pace and stay together as a group. We’ll stop occasionally to take in the sights.
Please,
… do not ask or expect anyone to wait or respond to messages while the meet up is in progress so the host can focus on leading the assembled group, and others won’t be distracted.
… do not suggest alternate meeting points, or anything else contrary or in addition to what the host provides for this event.
… understand the host’s cell phone gets no attention while driving to an event.

Let’s walk, and eat!
