Join us for a relaxed afternoon meetup at United Bowl Nation, a charming waterside café tucked right on the marina in Marina del Rey. Think coffee, wine, pastries, and delicious light bites — all with a gorgeous view of the water and that perfect SoCal afternoon vibe.

This is a come-as-you-are, no-pressure hangout — just a great chance to meet fellow Midwesterners (and Midwest-at-heart locals), swap stories, share tips about navigating LA life, and maybe find your new favorite people in the city. No agenda, no awkward icebreakers — just good conversation and good food by the water.

Whether you moved here last week or last decade, you know how hard it can be to find your people in a big city. This group exists to change that. Come hungry, come curious, and come ready to connect. 🌊

When you arrive, head to the waterfront and look for the yellow umbrellas — that's us!

🅿️ Heads up on parking: Free garage parking is limited to 11 spots — so please RSVP as soon as you can! If we have more than 11 coming, no worries at all — we'll send along alternate parking details to make sure everyone is taken care of.

Parking Directions for United Bowl Nation

1. Use Google Maps to navigate to the location — it will bring you to the front of the Esprit Apartments.
2. Turn right, then immediately left to enter the free parking garage beneath the apartments.
3. Pull up to the gate — it will open automatically.
4. Park in any space marked with a green "Visitor" sign.
5. Back at the entrance gate (before you parked), look to the right for signs pointing to the "Dockmaster" — follow those signs.
6. Take the elevator or stairs up one floor and you'll be right on the waterfront.
7. The café is right there — look for the yellow umbrellas!
