Mammoth March Wisconsin

We will be participating in the Mammoth Hike again. Hike 20 miles in 8 hours or 30 miles in 12 hours along one of only 11 National Scenic Trails in the country.
Located less than an hour north of Milwaukee, we will call the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest home for one day. Our single-circuit 20- & 30-mile hiking loops cover everything the 30,000 acres of rolling hills, lakes, and forests have to offer.
Mastering our challenge, you will be exhausted, but proud and happy... as well as part of our amazing community of nature-lovers, hikers and MammothMarch addicts!

I am going to attempt the 30 mile. Start time is 6:30am.
If you register, mention in the chat so others can pick the same start time and we can coordinate a meeting spot.

Last year they did have snacks (peanut butter/jelly sandwiches, granola bars, and other snacks) and water at various rest stops. They do have bail out points if you decide to stop. The terrain wasn't bad. Some hills, but nothing major. There is also 1st aid stops along the way.
I will be looking at getting a campsite at Mauthe Lake. Checking in Fri and checking out on Sunday. Please let me know if you would be interested.
