Fawn Creek Winery/Camping Social

This is our 3rd time doing this event, we always have such a good time! This event is open to everyone. How does spending the day at a winery sampling great wine, browsing through all the cool wine accessories in the shop, walking through the Vineyard, eating lunch sitting outside while listening to fabulous music sound? Then heading over for some yard games, grilling out, drinks, socializing and then an optional hike in the morning sound?

Fawn Creek is a relaxing winery, nestled in the forest of Del Prairie, but on weekends, the quiet neck of the woods is transformed into the best music venue in Southwest Wisconsin. The music there for us to enjoy on Saturday will be Dan Soma, who plays contemporary folk, then after him is JJ Eckl who plays country.

Snack food will be available for purchase for lunch or you can bring your own and have a picnic while listening to the music. Leashed dogs are permitted on the ground but on grassy areas only, no dogs are permitted in the winery, on the decks or in the pavilions.

Saturday
Head on over to our place between 10 AM and 11 AM and get your tent set up then around noonish or when everybody is ready we will head over to the winery. Once we get there if you want to participate in the wine tasting, we can get everyone signed up. If you choose to partake in the tasting, there’s a five dollar fee you would pay Fawn Creek. We will stay there for most of the day and enjoy the music, the wine samples, shopping and touring the vineyards etc. When we are ready to leave we will head back over to our place. We will provide hotdogs and burgers for dinner. If you would like to bring something to share with everyone that would be great or if you prefer to just bring your own meal for dinner that is fine too.

If the sound of croaking frogs bothers you at night, please bring earplugs. We have ponds and a stream on the property and lots of frogs. We have two very friendly dogs and other friendly dogs are welcome to come with you. We only ask that you pick up after your dog.

Sunday
Enjoy the breakfast that you brought and for those who would like to, we can carpool and go on a morning hike over at Mirror Lake. You will need a Wisconsin park sticker to get in or you can pack up and head home.

Directions
This will be held at a private residence and the address will be given before the event. Both the residence and Fawn Creek Winery are located in Wisconsin Dells a few miles from each other.

Weather
This is a summer event please check the weather forecast and come prepared for various temperatures Let’s hope for sunshine!

Fees
This is a free event. You are responsible for any purchases at the winery. If you feel the need for me to hold your money so you don’t go crazy I can do that. 😁
