This group is for all people who are looking for a way to spread the light of Reiki and to come together to co-create a space of union, support, and growth. If you are new to Reiki join us and and learn how you can become a channel for this amazing life changing healing energy. If you are already a practitioner or teacher join us as we create new ways of spreading the light, love and reach of Reiki across the Midwest and then beyond!!!!

Interested in joining in our Reiki Shares and outreach events, but not yet initiated into Reiki? After this class, you will be able to channel Reiki life force energy to enhance the body's own healing mechanisms and improve quality of life on physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual levels.
This two-day course can be taken either in person, or remotely via Zoom. Regardless of your location, attendance both days is required for successful completion of the course.
Day 1: Saturday, July 12, 9a-3p.
Day 2: Sunday, July 13, 9a-3p.Attendees will learn the history, philosophy and protocols of working with Reiki, and be initiated* into this incredible energy. Western and Eastern philosophies and techniques will be explored, so students have a broad base of information, and can choose what resonates best with them.
Reiki is being incorporated into hospital treatment plans across the country as medical and non-medical personnel have come to recognize its ability to reduce stress and expedite healing. Additionally, thanks to modern technology, scientific data now corroborates mountains of anecdotal evidence.

Text, class materials, Reiki experience, fun, and a special gift are included. (Zoom attendees also pay postage for class materials). After class, monthly Reiki practice sessions are available and participation is strongly encouraged.

We'll start off by sending Reiki out into the world, then we'll share Reiki with each other. Won't you join us?
If you're new to Reiki, come with an open heart and questions. If you've taken Reiki class(es), come to practice what you've learned in a supportive space—and receive some Reiki in the bargain. Either way, it'll be a healing adventure.

The Midwest Reiki Community offers a supportive group of Reiki channels of all levels of experience to embrace this gift more fully for healing both yourself and others.
We'll start these events with introductions to help build our (your) community, and possibly a group meditation, exercise or intention. Then we’ll break into groups to share Reiki with each other. Following the Reiki, we'll share experiences, feedback, knowledge, and community with others on their Reiki path. We look forward to sharing with you!

» The event begins at 7:00pm. There is a security system and you will need to be buzzed in (Here's the Rub: #019), therefore arrive after introductions at your own risk. The buzzer inner may be blissing out with Reiki. =0)» Contribution: $10 donation suggested to help defer MRC operating expenses (no one turned away for lack of funds)
» Travel: There is plenty of free parking, and we're around the corner from the Irving Park Brown Line stop. It's easy.
» Suitable For: Reiki channels with a Level 1 initiation or above. For those interested in Reiki you may attend 2 shares before taking a Reiki class. You can find Reiki 1 classes on this Meetup calendar.
