Presentation & Screening: BCN Inclusive Coding + MigraCode Documentary
Details
MigraCode is participating in the BCN Inclusive Coding project: a collaboration between nonprofits and companies to foster labour integration of communities with fewer opportunities, with the ultimate goal of placing up to 10.000 people in quality jobs in the next 5 to 10 years.
In this event, we will present how and why MigraCode participates in this project, with short guest talks from both our students who are the inspiration of this project, as well as from our partners that already joined this much promising collaboration. More information can be found over here: https://barcelonadigitaltalent.com/bcn-inclusive-coding/.
At the same time, we make use of the presentation to also screen the new, official MigraCode Documentary (2021), filmed and produced by Jenny Dinwoodle and Ryan Hammond over the last year. In this short documentary - sponsored by Lenovo - you can hear the perspectives of various students, volunteers and staff. Be inspired by their stories and find out what MigraCode can mean to you.
