Ski Weekend Monte Baldo / Lake Garda

Let's discover a special hidden gem! Imagine the faces of your friends when you tell them that you went to Lake Garda for... snow skiing! Or snowboarding of course. Or mountain hiking, why not.

On Saturday Feb. 4 we'll leave Milano in the morning and drive to Monte Baldo, the famous huge mountain on the east coast of Lake Garda. On Saturday we'll be skiing/snowboarding in one of the two ski resorts on the mountain, and on Sunday Feb. 5 in the other one.

After skiing on Saturday we'll go to a beautiful mountain village house that we have just for our group; we'll have a good dinner together in the house (I'm thinking of cheese fondue), play some funny games, do a bit of simple yoga, tell each other some creepy bedtime stories and then we'll go to sleep. The house has nice kitchen, a number of bedrooms and shower, etc. Most beds are double beds so we'll be sharing space with each other.

The ski areas are not very big but located uniquely in the beautiful pre-Alps landscape with sometimes a very impressive view on Lake Garda, that is 1.800 m below!
In the unlikely case of lack of snow, we'll be making hikes in this amazing landscape.

Then after skiing/snowboarding/hiking on Sunday, we'll drive back to Milano.
This weekend is not only a chance to enjoy the snow and the mountains, and to do that together with old friends or make new ones, but also to discover the surprising winter side of an area that you would normally associate with summer tourism :)

The participation fee for this event is EUR 127 per person. This includes the accommodation, dinner on Saturday evening, and breakfast on Sunday morning. If you RSVP yes, I will ask you to pay an advance payment because I have to confirm the house rental, so I need to know if you really commit to this trip :) In the case that I cancel this event, you will get your advance payment back.

Monte Baldo is at some 200km from Milan. I can carry 6 people (incl. myself) with ski's or snowboards in my car; let me know if you want to drive with me or that you will go by other means. We need more than 6 people to make this trip happen, so I hope that more people with car will sign up ;)
