"The exhbition tells the story of Milanese living with a look from the inside, that is, at the interiors of extraordinary Milanese houses, designed between the 1930s and 1970s, and sometimes even inhabited, by some of the greatest and most famous Italian architects, starting with Villa Necchi Campiglio, designed by Piero Portaluppi in 1932. This is not a traditional exhibition, but an overview and a reflection: an unmissable opportunity to reread an extraordinary chapter in the history of Italian architecture, and also in the history of Milan, allowing oneself the pleasure of peeking inside famous houses to grasp the exceptionality and originality, the creativity and ingenuity, the aesthetics and functionality, the modernity and wisdom of solutions that come from recent history, and that will make history.
