Nel 2025 ricorre il centenario de l'Exposition internationale des arts décoratifs et industriels modernes di Parigi, l'evento che segnò l’affermazione dello “Stile 1925” o Art Déco: un gusto innovativo diffusosi in Europa nel primo dopoguerra.

Per celebrare questo anniversario, la mostra presenterà al pubblico straordinari esempi di arti decorative italiane ed europee, dai vetri alle porcellane alle maioliche, dai tessuti agli arredi e all’oreficeria, ma anche dipinti, sculture, disegni e manifesti pubblicitari, nonché immagini d'epoca e spezzoni cinematografici per restituire il più possibile il clima e le atmosfere di un'epoca irripetibile e affascinante

2025 marks the centenary of the Exposition internationale des arts décoratifs et industriels modernes in Paris, the event that marked the affirmation of the 'Style 1925' or Art Deco: an innovative taste that spread across Europe in the early post-war period.

To celebrate this anniversary, the exhibition will present the public with extraordinary examples of Italian and European decorative arts, from glassware to porcelain to majolica, from textiles to furniture and jewellery, but also paintings, sculptures, drawings and advertising posters, as well as period images and film clips to restore as much as possible the climate and atmosphere of a unique and fascinating era
