💡 First Session: My Favourite Features - A ClickHouse Overview by
Tyler Hannan, Sr. Director - Developer Advocacy, ClickHouse

Bio: Tyler Hannan is an experienced technologist with a passion for human interaction. With a career that has spanned the private and public sectors, large enterprises, consulting, and startups of varying success, he has maintained a focus on data persistence and analysis. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, called on to provide commentary about market trends impacting the design and deployment of database solutions and distributed systems.

💡 Second Session: Streaming + AI = The Perfect Match Samuele Dell'Angelo, Senior Solutions Engineer, Confluent will explore how real-time data streams unlock AI models that are more accurate, contextual, and actionable. It shows why combining event-driven architectures with modern AI turns every interaction into an opportunity for instant insight and automation. Attendees will leave with practical patterns and examples to start unifying their streaming and AI strategies today.

Bio: Samuele is a Senior Solutions Engineer specializing in enterprise transformation through real-time, event-driven architectures. He helps organizations migrate from batch-based and legacy systems to modern streaming platforms using Confluent and Apache Kafka. His focus is on Data in Motion, designing scalable solutions that enable real-time intelligence and customer experiences. He has deep expertise in cloud-native platforms, ecosystem integrations, and legacy modernization.

💡 Third Session: Compute Smarter: A Practical Guide to EC2 Performance & Cost Optimization Gianluca Vegetti, Enterprise Architect, AWS & Nati Cohen, Solutions Architect, AWS will offer a hands-on guide to optimizing Amazon EC2 for both performance and cost. Using real customer and partner examples, we'll explore how to choose the right processor (Graviton, AMD, or Intel) based on workload needs, and how small architectural decisions can unlock significant efficiency gains. You'll learn:

  • How to select the right EC2 processor for common workloads using simple, repeatable decision criteria
  • Proven optimization patterns that deliver 20-80% improvements in price-performance
  • A practical benchmarking and migration approach to validate changes with low risk

You'll leave with concrete strategies, decision frameworks, and implementation tips you can immediately apply to help customers run EC2 workloads more efficiently, without overengineering or guesswork.

Bios:
Nati is a Solutions Architect with AWS. He delights in helping customers simplify complex systems, teaching them about the inner workings of cloud services and debugging annoying technical oddities. When he is not at his computer he is soldering electronic kits, tinkering with smaller computers, and drumming on a Taiko.
Gianluca is an Enterprise Architect at AWS, where he partners with AWS strategic partners to design and optimize cloud solutions that maximize their business outcomes. With deep expertise spanning cloud computing, networking, and telecommunications, he brings a comprehensive technical perspective to complex architectural challenges. When he's not architecting cloud solutions, you'll likely find him curating photos from his latest adventure, planning the next family expedition, or plotting how to crush a party of adventurers in the next D&D session he's running as a Dungeon Master.
