Hike Grazing Elk Trail (between South Valley and Deer Creek)

This hike doesn't apparently appear on the Jeffco Open Space locations, other than as the part across the road from the main South Valley - look to the southwest on this map. https://www.jeffco.us/1431/South-Valley-Park

To get there, from 470 and Kipling, go south for one block, R up Deer Creek Canyon Rd for 1.8 miles, go PAST the south parking lot for South Valley and turn on Valley Road. Go MAYBE .2 miles and look for my old white Tacoma on the right shoulder of the road. We will park on the shoulder across from the East entrance to Grazing Elk Trail, then we will hike for 3.1 miles COUNTER-clockwise (toward the Lockheed campus, then south and around to the start).

We will meet at 7:00, and set out at 7:05. Please dress appropriately - it could be as warm as mid-70s by that time of day, or anything down to spitting rain. More than that, we will reschedule.
