Macro Photography Experience

Let’s get close – really close!

We will explore the techniques, including focus stacking, needed to understand how to do great macro photography.

In this class we will discuss specialized macro lenses and ways to do close-ups with a wide range of equipment.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Harold Shapiro is known for his sensitive portraits, interpretive architectural photographs and his images of industrial subjects. He is head of the photography department at the Creative Arts Workshop, where he has been teaching since 1984. He served for many years as a board member of the Arts Council of Greater New Haven.
