Photographer Anastasia Fasnakis will guide you through Lightroom’s core editing tools using the right-hand toolbar. You’ll learn not just where tools are—but how and why to use them.

- Understanding the Right-Hand Toolbar: Get a tour of Lightroom’s key editing panels and what each one controls.
- First Steps in Editing: Learn which basic adjustments to make first and why they matter (exposure, contrast, whites/blacks).
- Correcting Highlights and Shadows: Techniques to recover lost detail and bring balance to your images.
- White Balance & Color Correction: How to read and correct color temperature and tint for natural-looking results.
- Intro to Color Grading: Use the Color Grading panel to create mood and tone, and learn the difference between global and local color edits.
- Using Masks Effectively: Discover how to use the Masking tool for selective edits—like brightening skies, enhancing subjects, or fine-tuning tones.

With over six years of experience working in a professional photo studio, she’s well-versed in everything from studio lighting and retouching, to film processing and digital editing. Her work blends technical skill with a love for storytelling, travel, and culture. In this class, she brings her down-to-earth teaching style and real-world experience to help you feel confident in your work.
