Nowhere Special (2020)

Nowhere Special (by Uberto Pasolini) is set in Northern Ireland, and stars James Norton (nominee for a British Independent Film Award for Best Actor) and Daniel Lamont. Based on a true story, the film follows John, a single parent to three-year-old Michael, who must make arrangements for the care of his son when he is faced with the reality of terminal illness. "For a film about loneliness and death, it’s tender, intelligent and life-affirming without ever being maudlin and mawkish. A rare and distinguished film indeed." (Observer)
