Great Links and Kitty Tor

This is an 8.5 mile circular walk starting from the car park behind the Dartmoor Inn at Lydford

It starts with a pretty steep climb early on, but, as usual, rewarded with some great views from the tor, then we continue into the moors a little to one of the most impressive looking Tors (Great links) before carrying on, passing the bleak house ruin, to the lunch stop at Kitty Tor, which has some panoramic views of the north moor. After lunch we'll do a bit of a loop back with some more Tors on the way, along a fairly good track.

Note: It's NOT the pub car park, it's up a very narrow and bumpy lane, which is on the same side of the road as the pub, between it, and the farm shop up the road - the turning is easy to miss & looks a bit like someone's driveway from the road (streetview link)
