Hey gyal! It’s no secret that as we get older, it becomes more difficult to form and maintain meaningful friendships. This group is for the millennial women of the African and/or Caribbean diaspora in the GTA looking to go out and have a good time while expanding their circle of friends, and finding their tribe. If you’re ready to tun up with the MGDG, then join us!

Before you join, please consider that in order to achieve the goal of meeting new people and forming quality, long-lasting friendships, you will need to consistently engage with the group (i.e. RSVP to all events, attend the group’s meet ups, participate in our group chat, suggest potential future events etc.). There will be at least one event each month that will include a variety of activities such as brunches, dinners, parties, festivals, shows, concerts, sports games, exhibits, game nights, trips etc., so you’ll be sure to find something you’ll enjoy! Please RSVP "yes" or "no" to every event so we know if you can make it or not. If you do not engage with the group for 3 consecutive months, it will be assumed that you are no longer interested in being a part of the MGDG, and you will be removed. To maintain a close-knit circle, the group will remain private, with a limited number of members.
