The purpose of this Meetup is to connect with fellow Millennials to boost financial education, a severely lacking skill that unfortunately isn't taught in formal education but is a self taught skill.
This is a free-form, open discussion on topics of financial planning, investing, and philosophy around all things money. Ideally through sharing of knowledge, interests, ideas, and experiences the hope is to foster better financial education and networking.
As a Millennial, I see the importance of a strong foundation in all money matters, especially in an increasingly complex and challenging financial environment. In order to achieve financial health for my future, I had to grow my financial literacy myself and after realizing many of my generational peers lacking in these skills despite proper degrees and education, I wanted to share some of my knowledge as well as learn more from others.
