Bittersweet (West Loop) & Bartelme Park

Join us at Bittersweet, a woman-owned European style bakery, in West Loop.

After picking up coffee, we will head across the street to Bartelme Park (~10:15). We’ll check out the iconic modern steel archways that double as misting fountains then relax on the lawn or viewing hill - we’ll have some large, clean blankets to share but bring anything that would make you more comfortable.

The park is named after Mary Bartelme, the first female judge in IL (assistant in 1912, elected in 1923!)
