Name: Let's ride Onoway to Sandy Lake and back - late lunch at Wally’s Pub & Grill

Lets ride a different part of the province, and take on some narrow pavement between Onoway and Sandy Lake. This part of Alberta is peppered with lakes, some large, some small. Onoway is one of those forgotten villages with just enough services to make it interesting.

This ride is all pavement and will be a total of 44 km for the day. We ride from the Elks Memorial Park to the Sandy Beach Village Store. The Village at Sandy Beach is small and we explore the cottages as we ride the spit between the two distinct bodies of water. Upon the return ride we take in a late lunch at Wally’s Pub & Grill on Onoway, before departing for home.

**Itinerary:**

* 10:00 AM - Meet at Elks Memorial Park (roadside parking)
* 10:15 AM - Ride Lac Saint Anne Trail N to Highway 777 (northbound)
* 11:00 AM - Turn east onto on 777 and continue eats onto 642
* 11:40 AM - Arrive at the Sandy Beach Village Store (Noyes General Store)
* 12:00 AM - Depart Sandy Lake
* 1:30 PM - Arrive Onoway and load up
* 2:00 PM - Late Lunch and Fellowship at [Wally’s Pub & Grill](https://www.onowayinnandsuites.com/wallysjunglesnorth)
