Join us for an adventure from Edmonton to Sherwood Park and on to Fort Saskatchewan on the Trans Canada Trail.
We'll meet at Gold Bar Parking lot, ride through Rundle Park then across to the Strathcona Science Centre, through refinery row and on to Sherwood Park. We'll keep riding north towards Fort Saskatchewan and end up at Lamoureux where we will find a park for snacks, or bagged lunch if you want.
This ride should be about 60kms round trip and will have a little bit of everything except busy highway. A hybrid, MTB or gravel bike would be best for this ride. Due to a bit of single track and some gravel areas a road bike would not be suitable.
After the ride, if there is time, we can go to a restaurant or pub for dinner, drinks or snack.
Bring water, snacks, spare tube and tools to change a flat. Helmet, bell and high vis clothing are a must.
