Lunch Bunch - Future Focus: McKinney in Motion with Shelbie Hamilton

Based on Community Impact's years of local reporting, Shelbie will present an update on a number of development projects, community initiatives and policy decisions affecting topics such as city government, local education entities, transportation, real estate and healthcare. Hear the latest news on initiatives such as the McKinney National Airport expansion, the Sunset Amphitheater project, housing development trends, McKinney-area road projects underway by the Texas Department of Transportation, business development trends and more.
Shelbie Hamilton, a journalist, photographer and Dallas-Fort Worth native, joined Community Impact in August 2022 and has been the editor of the McKinney edition since July 2023. Prior to joining CI, Shelbie served as a business news fellow for the Dallas Morning News. She graduated with a degree in journalism from Southern Methodist University in May 2022.
