Erika discovered her love for historic homes after restoring a 1928 Tudor in Fort Worth’s River Crest neighborhood. After more than 15 years in accounting at Deloitte & Touche LLP and Globe Life Inc., she retired in 2022 to pursue historic restoration full time.
Today she is the owner and steward of The Bingham Estate, a beautifully restored 1883 Georgian-Italianate estate in historic McKinney, Texas that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally built for Civil War veteran Captain John Henry Bingham, the property now blends timeless character with modern comforts — featuring a restored main house and six uniquely designed cottages inspired by the Bingham family’s children. Guests can enjoy elegant spaces, a pool, pickleball, and gatherings that celebrate connection and history. Learn about how it came about at Lunch Bunch series.
Lunch Bunch Speaker Series is an informal conversation around topics of interest to members and nonmembers. Lunch is not provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. All are welcome. The event is free.
