SPECIAL EVENT - Beginners Tango Class for the dancing community + salsa social

Join us for a special event at Milonga d'A Barraca: our beginners class for the young dancing community of Lisbon and for everybody who wants to try for the first time a real Argentinian Tango class surronded by the energetic people of this city! We will also include a small cuban salsa social at the end of the class to end the night on a hight note! 🤩💃

We have created this event to conect the two dancing communities that we're part of: the tango and cuban salsa scene of Lisbon; to demonstrate that the lively Buenos Aires milongas have a lot more in common with the spirit of the amazing cuban salsa parties of LX than you ever thought 😉 and that Tango is best when shared, between hugs, laughs and friends 🫂

20.30h-21h: cuban salsa social

📖 Milonga d'A Barraca is the tango party of Lisbon and since it's opening back in 1999, it has always been tied to salsa: we have held, since the beginning, Tango + Salsa parties. And we're ready to continue with this tradition! In addition, our tango teacher Ale Laguna has a loong relationship with salsa: he had a tropical music band and has even recorded two salsa songs: Ay Maria! for Warner Chapell Arg 1997 and Danza Café for RTP1 2001

🏬Our class will happen at Teatro a Barraca, the space where our sunday milonga has taken place for more than 26 years. It's a magical space of tremendous importance to the city and a home for the bohemius and artistic souls of Lisbon.
