Welcome to the Milton Keynes Friday Socials!

We are a friendly, welcoming community group designed specifically for older adults in the Milton Keynes area. We believe that no one should have to face the week alone, and that having something wonderful to look forward to at the end of the week makes all the difference!

What we are about:
Our goal is simple: to tackle social isolation by bringing people together for a joyful, pressure-free afternoon of great company, gentle activities, and endless cups of tea.

What we do at our events:
Every Friday, we gather at the Peach Care Activities Centre in Linford Wood for our weekly social. For just £5.00 a session, you can expect a wonderful rotating schedule of activities, including:

Live music and classic sing-alongs
Fun, team-based quizzes (our 'Pub Quiz with Tea!')
Gentle seated mobility exercises
Classic board games, cards, and bingo
Nostalgic local history talks

Please note: There is absolutely no pressure to join in on the main activities! We always have a 'Quiet Corner' set up with newspapers and puzzles for anyone who prefers a peaceful afternoon of reading and quiet company.

Who should join?
This group is perfect for older adults looking for a change of scenery, a good laugh, and a chance to make new friends in a safe, fully supported environment. (Family members and caregivers are also more than welcome to join this Meetup group on their loved one's behalf to stay updated on our events!)
