Annual Planning & Agility

We'll kick off the year with the timely topic "Annual Planning & Agility". It can be frustrating to reconcile the goals of an annual plan with the simultaneous goal of being agile. Luckily, agile teams are pretty good at adapting new techniques to make things work.

Come share your questions, frustrations and best advice for how you can be agile in a company that practices traditional annual planning.

Tracey Barrett will lead this presentation and discussion. Tracey is the organizer of Milwaukee Agile and the head of nvisia in Wisconsin, where she has a broad view into how companies in the area set their technology plans and look to accomplish them through agile methods.

Milwaukee Agile events are designed to spur discussion and build community. Newer practitioners are free to bring questions. Experienced practitioners bring their knowledge. Newcomers are always welcome. The general format is:

6:00 Brief presentation, introducing the night's topic
Approximately 15-20 minutes later: Discussion begins
Wrap-up by 7:30
