What we’re about

I am moving from Chicago to Milwaukee. We cannot afford Chicago anymore. I am "the wife" age 61. If I don't find one friend in Milwaukee I don't know how I'll survive.

I had a gal pal in Chicago. I took her to dinner once a month. She was on disability. We have all the same medical crap and the same doctors, so, yeah, we had soooo much in common it was crazy.

I am horrible at making new friends. Ppl tell me "I come off as a loud-mouthed lesbian."

Not that, that's a bad thing... but dang! Gimme more than 60 seconds before you lable me, 🙏.

I can talk for both if us, if you are shy. I've had public speaking training and that changed me forever. I can now speak about any subject at any time ir place without hesitation. It's actually so bad that a therapist would call it "verbosity."

...as you can see by me rambling on in this text box! lol.

I gotta find a pal in Milwaukee. I prefer men, or women who do not spend their days watching reality TV.

I like plumbing, drywall, tuckpointing, electrical, all that manly stuff. OR medical stuff: tell me about the silliest doc you've ever had. What your current medical crap is. How frustrating the medical system is.

I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. If you even KNOW what that IS, you could be my new friend.

That's all I have to say...no....wait.

Dudes. I get along with manly humans. I prefer that you are married. 99% of my friends end up being dudes. Their wives are actually happy that they found a good, decent, hard-working friend. My husband is a genius at what he does, but doesn't have any social graces. He lives in his head. I've loved/adored him for over 20 years. He's just not a social guy.
Sure, I wish he was. Then I'd be looking for elder couples to hang out with!

...not happening. lol.
