Are you someone who enjoys the outdoors, but not sure about a 5 mile hike on a rigorous trail? Or don't want to drag out those hiking boots? How does a leisurely hike on generally flat trails, where no special hiking shoes are required on a perfect fall day sound?

We'll do a fun relaxing hike at Mequon Nature Preserve on Sunday, October 26 at 11am. Then we'll get lunch or custard at Culvers in Brown Deer.

Meet us at 11am in front of the Pieper Power Education Center. We'll be leaving promptly at 11:10am for our hike in the preserve. Here's the map on where to park and meet us:

We'll hike for approximately 60-90 minutes and target finishing around 12-1230pm, then head over to the Culvers in Brown Deer around 12:30-12:45pm. Don't worry, we'll be done before the Packers game starts.

Oh why is this called a Ryan hike? It started off as a joke and a few people kept asking me to schedule this...a nice leisurely hike under 2 hours, close to MKE, free admission, free parking and ends with custard.
