Milwaukee Fire Historical Society + Custard at Leon's
Details
During Doors Open last year, I visited the Milwaukee Fire Historical Society and found it very interesting being from Milwaukee. Even if you're not from Milwaukee, but you like museums/history you'll find it interesting too....And it is FREE! On the first Sunday of the month they offer a free open house from 12-3pm
Let's plan to meet there are 1pm on Sunday, May 3. We can tour the museum which isn't huge, then we can go to Leon's for custard. While I'm a huge Kopp's fan, Leon's is very famous in Milwaukee for their custard too and a family tradition since 1942. If you haven't been there, you'll enjoy it!
Enjoy your favorite Frozen Custard flavors made fresh daily including:
Vanilla, Chocolate, Butter Pecan, and a special flavor of the Day!

Several years ago, we had a Free Week where events during the entire week were free. Joan really loved this idea. I really should save this idea for a future Future Free Week, I don't think Joan will mind.
