Join us for a meaningful afternoon of connection, community, and giving at the Bloom Project Fundraiser, supporting Mom’s Bag Lunch, a Milwaukee-based community organization dedicated to uplifting underserved children, youth, and families.

### About Mom’s Bag Lunch

Founded in 2016 by sisters Tia Truss and her sister, Mom’s Bag Lunch exists to meet real needs with compassion, consistency, and care. Each summer, the organization hosts a community meal site in the Harambee neighborhood, providing nutritious meals and support for children and their families.

Over the years, Mom’s Bag Lunch has partnered with local organizations such as MATC, the Milwaukee Sheriff’s Department, and Milwaukee Public Schools to expand their reach and deepen their impact across the city.

### Programs & Community Impact

Mom’s Bag Lunch supports Milwaukee through:

  • Annual Hat & Glove Giveaways
  • Flower distributions for seniors
  • A Summer Reading Program for youth
  • Ongoing community outreach initiatives
  • Fundraising and support for sister and like-minded organizations
  • Community pledge events, including Supreme Court pledge events

At its core, Mom’s Bag Lunch is about service, empowerment, and building stronger communities—one meaningful connection at a time.
