About us
Welcome to The Mind Control Disco—a novel blend of immersive theatre, high-energy rave culture, and interactive social play.
This group is for anyone who wants to break out of the standard night out. If you love immersive experiences, music, gaming, theatre, or simply meeting new people without the usual awkward small talk, you've found your crew.
What We’re About
We host participatory audio adventures powered by O.M.N.I., a fictional AI program designed to orchestrate the "perfect party." Participants tune into a synchronised audio feed and follow secret, coordinated instructions set to epic, high-energy tracks.
Together, we jump in time to synchronised sound effects, share quick playful moments, cheer on randomly selected "runners," and take part in a story-driven, interactive mime battle to decide the outcome of AI control vs. human free will.
Why We Exist & Human Connection
Traditional networking and social events can feel daunting. We created this group around a simple premise: structured play removes social friction. By giving everyone shared, low-pressure actions to execute together, O.M.N.I. creates instant camaraderie, shared laughter, and genuine human connection.
Safety & Consent First
To ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for every member, every event strictly enforces our Consent System:
Placing your hands behind your back signals "I don’t want to do this instruction" or "I don't want to do this with you, thank you."
This boundary is absolute, zero-judgment, and must be respected by all participants at all times. Personal comfort and psychological safety are the foundation of everything we do.
