The Medical Initiative for Neurosurgical Discourse (MIND) is committed to increasing understanding and sparking interest in the field of neurosurgery, promoting nervous system health, and giving back to the community while encouraging community engagement through fundraising and volunteering initiatives for neurosurgery-related causes. By providing accessible and approachable resources, we strive to make neurosurgery and the nervous system’s health an integral part of public and professional understanding.

🎯 Goal: Raising funds for the Neuropalliative Care Program at The Neuro

We’re hiking Mount Royal together to raise awareness and funds for the Neuropalliative Care Program, which provides compassionate care and comfort to patients living with serious neurological illnesses, and supports their loved ones along the way.
💙 Why it matters:
Neuropalliative care helps people facing neurological diseases live with dignity, support, and better quality of life. It’s a vital program that deserves more recognition and resources, and every step we take helps make a difference.
✨ What to expect:- A friendly, welcoming hike open to all ages and fitness levels
- Great energy, beautiful views, and lots of smiles
- Music, photo ops, and a celebration at the end of the trail
- The chance to support an amazing cause and connect with others in the community
