The human mind is deeply connected to the biological brain—but must it remain biological forever?
Every memory, emotion, decision, and aspect of personality arises through patterns of activity within the brain. If those patterns could be understood and reconstructed, could the mind continue in a different form? And what would be required to transform a living biological person into a functioning digital self?

At this meetup, we will explore the possible journey from biological consciousness to digital existence. We will discuss brain scanning, artificial intelligence, brain-computer interfaces, digital replicas, and the gradual replacement of biological functions. We will also consider whether copying every neural connection is truly necessary—or whether advanced AI could reconstruct a person from memories, behavior, personal data, and recurring patterns of thought.

What might a digital self remember and feel? Could it develop new experiences, relationships, and goals? Would it remain connected to its biological origin, or eventually become an independent individual?
Join us for a friendly and accessible conversation about how human identity might one day move beyond the limitations of the biological brain.
