Our event will be held in a studio space on 30th Avenue near 31st Street in Astoria. We will send the address to attendees who have RSVP'd prior to the event.
ABOUT OUR DEATH CAFE
We are excited to offer this much needed event to our community. Despite it being a serious topic, it often brings up our love for the people in our lives, and the things we love about living, so talking about death comes with smiles and heartwarming moments.
A death café is a space to help us open a dialogue about death and dying in a safe, relaxed atmosphere. By increasing our awareness around death and transforming some of our fears around the end of life, we are more able to live our lives to the fullest. This café is a discussion group and not meant to serve as a grief support group or any other therapeutic group. Light refreshments will be served.

Donation: $10- $20 (all proceeds go to Mindful Astoria)
