You are warmly invited to spend a quiet and nourishing afternoon together — sipping tea and learning the gentle art of origami.
Origami, the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, transforms a simple square of paper into something meaningful through patience and attention.

Like meditation, origami asks for:
• Steady focus
• Gentle persistence
• Acceptance of imperfection
• Trust in the unfolding process
Each fold becomes a moment of awareness. Each crease, an opportunity to return to the breath. No prior experience is needed. We will learn a few simple forms together, allowing the practice to be playful, calming, and quietly joyful.

We will gather from 3:00–6:00 PM to slow down, connect, and practice mindful presence through simple, intentional activities.

Before you RSVP, please read the following:

You must have attended at least 4 prior Mindful Astoria events to participate.
We are requesting a $20 donation which will help support Mindful Astoria.
We will email the exact location a few days before the event to everyone who RSVP.
