Mindful Mingle: Trauma and Storytelling
I was approached by a group of psychotherapists to collaborate around creating a safe, well-held space for sharing. Through Mindful Mingle, I’ve learned how important it is to hold such spaces with care, respect, and attention.
I’m very happy to invite you to the Mindful Mingle meetup in collaboration with NETfacts and psychotherapists experienced in working with people from diverse backgrounds.
What will the session include?
- A warm welcome with tea
- A short introduction from both sides
- A brief expert talk on healing trauma
(NETfacts approach) - Screening of Barrikad
- Conversation with the playwright and Q&A
About the session:
How do we heal from trauma in a world that often stigmatizes survivors of violence?
We will introduce Barrikad, a play co-created by survivors and told in their own words. The session will also explore our therapeutic approach (NETfacts) to healing individuals and communities, and to ending the “conspiracy of silence” that so often surrounds trauma.
We will meet in person, with expert input and the screening joining us via video call, followed by a shared in-person conversation.
Practical information
- Admission: FREE
- Donations: Voluntary donations support the work of vivo international and Vårsta Diakoni

*** Important notice ***
To create the safe space we are aiming for, two questions will be asked when you request to attend. Answering both questions is necessary for us to move you from the waiting list to the attendee list.
The attendee limit for participants joining via the Meetup platform is approximately 10 people.
To ensure that others who are interested and could benefit from the session have the opportunity to attend, please RSVP only if you plan to come, and update your RSVP in advance if you are no longer able to attend.
Feel free to drop me a message if you have any more questions.
Thank you for your understanding, and I hope to see you there. 🙂
