First Session: Exploring Form 8
Welcome to our first Qigong and Tai-chi community gathering! We'll start our consistent practice by focusing on the foundational and flowing "Form 8" movements

What to Expect in This Session:
- A welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for our inaugural practice under a gazebo
- Easy warm up and body stretching with a Qigong focus , to activate our body's vital energy
- Slow movements standing that require moving arms, hands and upper body
- We'll focus on learning and practicing the Form 8 sequence breaking it down into easy-to-follow steps for everyone to follow along FORM 8 SEQUENCE- 4min video
- Repetition and memorization: Expect to do the sequence more than once
- Focused on body form and mirroring : Be open to receive gentle guidance to help you find your flow while you mirror the movements of those around you , connect with your breath, and become more aware of your body in motion with the others
This is a peer-to-peer and shared learning space! If you have experience with Tai Chi or Qigong, or helpful tips related to Form 8 or general practice, we invite you to share. That's truly how these practices are learned – through consistent repetition, observation, and communal exchange.

- Anyone interested in trying Tai Chi or Qigong for the very first time.
- Those with some experience looking to revisit or refine the "Form 8" movements.
- People seeking gentle, low-impact exercise for health and relaxation.
- Anyone wanting to enjoy peaceful movement outdoors and be part of a new community
